Holly, MDiv, LPC

Holly is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of South Carolina. She holds a Master of Divinity degree in Counseling from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has a wide range of experience working with children, adolescents, women, and men in both the counseling setting and in ministry. Holly loves to see families find healing and better connection with each other, women grow in grace and confidence, and marriages be enriched. Holly enjoys spending time with her precious daughter, her sweet husband, and beloved animals. She is an active member of Renewal Church in Anderson and is incredibly grateful for her church community.
Self-Pay: $120 for the intake session and $110 for every subsequent session

Sawyer, MEd, LPC
Sawyer is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of South Carolina. He sees counseling as a process of working through obstacles, thoughts, difficulties, and emotions together in order to grow, become stronger, successful, and more confident in dealing with life. He works with children through adults. He enjoys working with clients of all ages, focusing on depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, and ADHD, using multiple modalities. His main interest is working with athletes within all sports and of all ages to achieve their personal goals by forming a plan that is specially tailored to their needs. However, he not only works with athletes but with individuals that need help in overcoming life’s obstacles.
Self-Pay: $120 for the intake session and $110 for every subsequent session

Ariana, MA, LPC-A
Ariana is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with the State of South Carolina. She is originally from Florida where she spent her childhood and the early years of her professional career before moving to South Carolina. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, camping, bouldering, reading, and traveling to new cities with her husband, to whom she has been married for eight years. Ariana received her Bachelor of Science in Health from the University of North Florida studying community health, with a minor in health education. She completed her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Ariana works with teenagers and adults going through depression, anxiety, life transition issues, infertility, grief, and loss. Ariana is passionate about meeting individuals where they are at. She believes in providing a safe, supportive setting where her clients can process and work through any struggles they are facing. Her approach emphasizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies and mindfulness to assist clients in developing the skills and ability to deal with all of life’s transitions

John, MA, LPC-A
John has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. He specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. He has worked professionally with families and children collaboratively to engage in positive change. His experience includes working in community-based counseling, social services, and local church ministry. He and his family are originally from Massachusetts, but three years ago moved to South Carolina and now reside in Anderson. He attends Capstone Church in Anderson. He is passionate about working with individuals and families to help discover hope and change in their lives from whatever obstacles stand in the way. He is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and has expertise in working with clients dealing with issues of trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, conduct disorder, and substance use. John focuses on the counseling process to engage individuals in understanding the problems and identifying solutions. John focuses on a perspective that is based on a Christian foundation to engage a holistic approach in counseling.

Kate, MA, LPC-A
Kate is a South Carolina native originally from Greenville. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Anderson University, Kate decided to stick around in Anderson while pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Kate worked with children and adolescents in the past, but is now passionate about serving the college-aged population. Trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Kate has worked with individuals struggling through anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental disorders. Kate strives to meet individuals where they are with empathy and compassion, believing that no one is beyond reach of hope in Christ in the healing process. Kate also currently works with the Student Ministry at Grace Church in Anderson, where she also attends church.

Savannah, MA, LPC-A
Savannah is an Anderson native, and graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is working to pursue her LPC. She also holds a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling, with an emphasis in Crisis Response and Trauma, obtained at Liberty University. Savannah has spent most of her career working with children, adolescents, couples, and adults, providing practical interventions, treatment planning, family support services, psychosocial rehabilitation, and teaching behavior modification skills to help broken families heal. She has specific expertise, training, and/or experience in areas such as personality disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, family discord, and divorce. She is also a SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before it Starts) certified instructor and loves working with couples to heal past wounds and promote new growth within their relationship. She believes that each client is the expert in their own life and loves to help guide individuals on their journey of self-discovery.

Amanda, MA, LPC
Amanda is a licensed professional counselor who has her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Theology from Anderson University and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She works predominantly with children and adolescents and has experience working with adults and couples. Her specific areas of expertise are trauma and crisis, anxiety, and depression where she delivers evidence-based treatment to help facilitate change that allows the client to achieve their treatment goals.
Self-Pay: $120 for the intake session and $110 for every subsequent session

Donna, Graduate Counseling Intern
Donna has received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently working on her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. As an intern, she has experience working with young adults and she enjoys working with children, youth as well as adults in various walks of life. She has been a military wife and is familiar with the challenges of relocation, career discovery as well as stress management and time management. She has a passion to help clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief and uses an eclectic approach with a variety of techniques which are personalized to meet the individual’s need. Donna believes that you are the expert of your own life, and your strengths have the ability to assist you in overcoming the challenges you face. Taking the first step in discovering a fulfilling life takes courage and she is here to support and empower you in that journey.
Self-Pay: $90/session

Morgan, Graduate Counseling Intern
Morgan is a graduate counseling intern working towards her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She is also pursuing a trauma certificate through Richmont in hopes of helping those who have endured unspeakable pain find hope and healing. Morgan has a passion for helping clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, faith-based issues, and body image/disordered eating, and she uses a person-centered theoretical framework that integrates a variety of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and strengths-based therapy. Her goal as an intern is to meet people where they are, to provide a safe space where they feel heard and supported throughout their journey, and to encourage her clients in pursuit of their goals.
Self-Pay: $90/session

Emily, Graduate Counseling Intern
Originally from High Point, NC, Emily moved to Anderson to complete her undergraduate studies at Anderson University. After graduating from Anderson University with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies, Emily decided to stay in South Carolina for a little while longer to begin her Master of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Clemson University.
Emily has been a part of the Restoring Hope team since January 2022 when she completed her undergraduate internship, and then transitioned to her role as our Communications Coordinator in May of 2022.
As she begins her counseling journey, Emily is interested in working with individuals of all ages, especially adolescents and young adults.
Self-Pay: $90/session
